Born in January 2001 in the Dominican Republic, Darlin De La Rosa began his professional baseball career in 2017 when he was signed as a free agent by the Texas Rangers minor league organization. A talented outfielder, Darlin quickly made history by becoming the youngest player ever to compete in the Triple-A Atlantic League.
His professional journey continued with the Lexington Legends, where he played for two seasons, before joining the Staten Island FerryHawks in 2022. Throughout his career, he has played with several MLB-affiliated organizations, gaining valuable experience and insight into the game at the highest levels.
Now as dedicated coach, Darlin is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of athletes. With a proven track record of success, he is committed to developing motivated young players, refining their skills in hitting, strength, and conditioning, and preparing them for competitive baseball. His ultimate goal is to help them reach their full potential and achieve opportunities at top Division 1 colleges and universities.
